Brett Jones is an independent singer-songwriter from Columbus, OH. After graduating from the Ohio State University in 2010 with a degree in psychology, Brett decided to do what most psychology majors do -- find a full-time job that has absolutely nothing to do with your field and try to turn a hobby into a profit. Building off of some chicken-scratch lyrics jotted down somewhere and an acoustic guitar, his EP Story So Far weaves in elements of rock, tapestries of electronica/ambience, and influences of blues and folk.
The verdict is out! In the words of Ron Burgundy, this dude is "kind of a big deal" -- key words being "kind" and "of", which can also be translated as "meh". With Brett's new EP, Story So Far, critics are saying "Dude, play some Radiohead!" and "Turn that sh*t down! I'm trying to sleep!" See what all the fuss is about!
